Leeann and her best friend by Dianna Effner Storybook, show off their 40’s style overalls and blouse. I was inspired by all the Shirley Temple movies I watched as a kid.

The overalls have wide legs, faux side pockets and shaped straps held with a button. I used a blue denim type material but it wasn't twill. The princess front is topstitched in white as are the rest of the details. The blouse is a lightweight broadcloth, it opens in the back and has a peter pan collar.
