Dear Friends,
I just wanted to say thank you to Twickingham Doll Club for a wonderful time. They had a great luncheon for Leeann’s dad Denis Bastien and there were collectible Valentines dolls to be had. I got one and Denis signed it. He gave a wonderful talk about how he got started with Leeann. We also a great lunch. My husband was so kind to drive me to Huntsville, AL for the luncheon and even managed to sit through most of it.
This was perfect timing, as I had just finished designing 2 new patterns for Leeann 1910 was my favorite but I also did a fun play wear outfit that includes a hoody, pants and T called Playtime. I hadn’t realized before the luncheon that Denis thinks of her as a tomboy and I keep trying to make her so girly. Hopefully the new jog set is more in keeping with his vision of her.
I have another pattern for Leeann that will be fun for those of you who like to embellish things. County Fair has Leeann in a great little felt vest and skirt set.
Lark also got a new jog suit, hers is really cute as you can see in the picture above. She was having fun with her skate board At the Park. There are two more patterns for her this time. She has a new dress and a vest and skirt set.
I am looking for ideas for my Antionette doll. I haven't even taken her out of the box yet. I would also like suggestions on what I should do for my boys. They are so neglected. I always feel sorry for my guys, they don't have much of a wardrobe and yet the have a shoe collection to die for. So please let me know if you have been searching for something and haven't found it yet.
Well, I guess I better get back to work. I have set a goal of 5 new patterns a month and want to get a jump start on next month.
Cheers and Best Wishes,
Oriole Adams-Harris
